How did you get started modeling?

I am actually a photographer turned model. I just decided to give modeling a shot and stand in front of the camera rather than behind it. I refer to myself as a modelographer. ;)

What excites you about modeling?

I'm such a girly girl so the most fun part for me is the getting dressed up, looking pretty aspect of it. I treat my photo shoots like an acting job; I try to not act like myself because I feel like a model can get in the way of herself if she has personal walls up about different poses. If you aren't you, it opens up a whole different world of poses!

Do you come from a background of training in the arts?

Not in the least bit! I come from a background of nurses, EMT's and firefighters!

What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?

I love the pin-up style first and foremost. I love anything high fashion and the bigger the heel, the better it is! I like glitter, sequins and short dresses. If it makes me feel like a princess (or, I admit it, a Barbie), the more I love it!

What are your least favorites?

My least favorites are implied nudes, which I know doesn't count as an "outfit", but I prefer to be covered. Even when I act like someone else for my shoot to achieve better poses, the more clothing I lose, the less comfortable I am, and it shows in my photos.

Classic pinup has become a huge phenomena lately, what about it first captured your interest?

What isn't to love about Pin-Up?! It's glamorous, sexy, without being over the top, simple, stunning, vintage, fun and I could go on! The world of Pin-Up can be achieved in so many poses and locations; kitchens, bathrooms, gardens, diners, laundry rooms, cars, urban settings. I mean, you literally cannot go wrong with a Pin-Up shoot!

What is it about Tattoos that intrigues you?

Tattoos tell a story. They are artistic, they say something about who you are, they tell a story that doesn't necessarily have words. Not to mention, tattoos are just sexy. Tattoos intrigue me because they are a part of someone, just as their hair or eyes are a part of them.

Are there any other creative mediums you work in?

As I mentioned earlier, I am also a photographer. I love capturing a moment in time that cannot ever be again. On top of that, I am also a makeup artist which I love. I love making girls feel sexy and feel good about themselves.

What kind of music do you like?

I love all kinds of music from every genre! First, I am a country girl. Anything country I love. But I also like rock, hip-hop, pop and I have a giant girl crush on Katy Perry and Pink.

What do you like to do for fun?

When I'm not modeling, which is the most fun of all, I am a nursing student. Therefore, I have no choice but to say homework is what I like to do for fun. I have no choice since it basically takes away my entire life!
