HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
I was just a high school student when I created my first Myspace profile (when it was more «in fashion»). In the meantime my mother and I visited a model agency to claim my first working attempts into this domain. The point is, I didn’t like the way they chose to do their work there with models. You know how conventional model agencies work like. I wanted to do only the things I like, especially in this domain, which I love and I needed to show off my creativity, not only my disciplined modeling skills. So, I had my first photo-shooting with a Greek photographer here in my country (Constantinos Vamvakoussis) and then, more names in my photographers’ list followed.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
Modeling is a way to escape my daily routine and to express myself into pictures. I love to work on my expressions and to get into roles. I like to change all the time in different styles, outfits and looks, in a very huge preference to gothic and dark alternative stylizations and ambiance. I actually love all different styles but when it gets darker it is always a favorite for me. I am also very into contrast in between shootings or appearances (like on a Tim Burton’s movie). For example, I love to give a dark and/or rotten presence in very cheerful scenery or a very bright and happy portrait of mine in a really dark and rotten place. I also don’t like exclusively this motto of the «only beautiful & happy» model. I don’t mind to present other images as well, like an older woman for example, or tired, or scary or aggressive. Also I like in photography to focus on the details ,I can do all in the name of art.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
I mainly prefer among all, Gothic, Victorian and fetish. With a huge attraction to fantasy themed outfits, with hats and fascinators.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITES?
I can’t surely mention things I don’t like. Probably I wouldn’t like to model for the more conventional advert-stuff.
WHAT KIND OF SHOOTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ON IN THE FUTURE?
Steampunk for sure (with a very beloved friend of mine, Zirconia).
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER?
Irina Ionesco, Philip Fichot (of Die Form), Viona Art, Velvet Photos, Annie Bertram, Silent View, Art In Black and many more.
CLASSIC PINUP HAS BECOME A HUGE PHENOMENA LATELY, WHAT ABOUT IT FIRST CAPTURED YOUR INTEREST?
My favorite was Bettie Page, later I also liked Dita Von Teese, Masuimi Max and Mosh. I like it mostly because it reveals femininity and teasing is a must in it. I also love the old school and vintage themed concepts but, of course I accept the newer fetish oriented pinup concepts as well.
HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN FETISH/BDSM?
The sight of it was exciting enough for me so, I explored it later more.
DO YOU ENJOY FETISHISM/BDSM PLAY IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE, AND IF SO WHAT ARE YOU INTO?
This is a totally personal aspect of life for me and, analyzing it is not so necessary. I prefer the artistic side of it. Thank you for asking!
HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN FETISH MODELING?
Above all, I believe it’s kinda sexier. But the main reason I started doing fetish images too, was that I loved revealing in my concepts my love for my personal fetishes (like wax, masks, high heels, gags, whips, nuns, role-play and shiny latex). I am very into bondage and shibari, so, apart from shootings I am doing bondage performances too. I am a bondage model and performer. Recently I am on the way to improve my skills in self-bondage.
DO YOU THINK PINUP AND FETISH ARE BECOMING PART OF THE MAINSTREAM CULTURE?
We see lots of modern pinups via TV which represent pinup in a more classy and glamour way (like Marilyn Monroe who –personally- I appreciate but, I don’t like). So yes, pinup is a little bit into fashion nowadays. But, fetish is another subject which we don’t see so often in any mainstream project. Just in a few video-clips and clothing companies but not as fashion for the masses. I believe fetish will never become a fashion because it’s a more personal aspect too.
WHAT MUSIC FIRST CAPTURED YOUR EAR AND GOT YOU INTERESTED IN MUSIC?
I remember my first ethereal listening ever was a long time ago when I first listened to Dead Can Dance, Ataraxia and more electronic bands such as Diary Of Dreams and Clan Of Xymox. After that, I wanted to get into these kinds of music a little bit deeper. My cousin is a musician in some of the biggest theaters and most important venues in Greece, so, along with him I mainly explored classic and baroque music. Either created from him or from other famous artists.
AND HOW DID YOU TRANSITION FROM THERE TO BEING A DJ?
Since I am not a musician, I started deejaying here and organizing some events. My first deejaying approach was at a metal bar-cafe, named Bolivar when I started selecting music in a very spontaneous way. Later the owner of this bar pushed me a bit to continue choosing the music there. I experienced a lot of positive energy from the audience there. Later it happened to me to attend an event of a person that I knew. He proposed me to play music and from then on I continued playing music in a more professional level.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE STYLES?
It depends on the party and I like numerous styles of music (as mentioned before). Each kind of music gives a different feeling and it’s not possible to pick only few of them for me.
WHAT KIND OF DANCE PERFORMANCE DO YOU PUT ON?
I love theater dancing and themed appearances. I am very influenced by Sabine of Die Form and her beautifully «sick» atmospheric dance performances during their live gigs. I do lots of dance performances for live events and club events, such as theatrical and freestyle. I am into gothic fusion belly dance as well (I participated on WGT 2012 on stage for Qntal). And I also did go-go as go-go dancer (for example at a Soman concert). Dancing is my life.
AT WHAT KIND OF EVENTS DO YOU PERFORM?
The ones I mentioned before but, I also like mixing genres of music and dance in order to get a different result from the usual ones. You can find me in concerts, club events and all those kinds of events related to my taste of music.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
I have studied and finished professional MUA into absolutely everything related to it. Theatrical, special effects, photography, fashion show, television, wedding, beauty etc..
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
I love classic music, Medieval, Ethereal, ambient, Gothic, dark/new wave, minimal, synth-pop, gothic rock, neue deutsch, industrial, EBM, electro-goth, dark electro and many kinds of metal music (mainly gothic, atmospheric and black) etc.. I don’t like too much labeling music but, since people want to know what I mostly hear and play, I have to mention some kinds.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
I like sewing and creating ornamental stuff. Also, clubbing, theater, listening to music and many more.
