HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
I started out as an occasional painter's model for artist Ron Jamison. Then a photographer friend of mine, Boyd Hambleton at Visions of Excess, kept pushing me to try photography modeling. It seemed like it just never really worked out, I was too busy with my career and child! Finally, after months of prodding, I gave in and fell in love! Now I book one to two shoots per weekend. It's my "me" time.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
I'm a girly girl; I love clothes, and shoes and makeup. I shop a lot. Modeling gives me an excuse to show off my purchases, and also makes me feel pretty. It's exciting to see such gorgeous photos and know that you played a part in making them gorgeous.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITES?
I'd hate to have to wear grannie panties, I suppose. Some models make them look really sexy. I'd just make them look like grannie panties.
WHAT KIND OF SHOOTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ON IN THE FUTURE?
I'd like to do more urban/street styles.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
Acting!!! I've been really lucky and have gotten to work with some very talented teams. I hope I get more opportunities in that field, I've been enjoying it greatly.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
Techno/industrial, goth, top 40, old school hip-hop, Reba Mcentire and anything I can DANCE to. I'm a dance-aholic!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
DANCING, going to clubs/bars, shopping, writing scripts and short stories, hanging out with my son and boyfriend and lurking around on Facebook.
