HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
When I was in utero, I paced all day in my tiny, cubicle-like confinement waiting for some sort of ultra sound, or something to happen, so I could 'strike a pose'. There were pictures of me on walls before there was even a 'me' to speak of!
But really, I would say my first experience was being a Hooters girl and doing local bathing suit contests. That turned into some outside work like calenders, promotional gigs and some fashion industry stuff. Then with a little provoking from a close friend in the industry I decided to turn a hobby into a career and do this full time.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
Oh geez, you know, I love how to some extent every time is like the first time. There is so much to this industry and a lot of it is pushing your personal limits in one way or another. Being able to expose your self to the camera, (not like that pervs) makes the project so much more personal but it also exposes your vulnerabilities, which can be terrifying, but in the end really exiting and satisfying.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
Stuff I don't own or might not wear in the facets of my normal life. Nothing is more fun than showing up for a shoot and being able to play dress up, get into character, do my job, have some fun and then leave with nothing but me and my purse. I'm not opposed to dressing myself, but when its my stuff its an outfit, when its the jobs its a costume!
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITES?
Liquid latex, tried it, hate it, will NOT do it unless the check matches the effort.
CLASSIC PINUP HAS BECOME A HUGE PHENOMENA LATELY, WHAT ABOUT IT FIRST CAPTURED YOUR INTEREST?
I do a lot of pinup stuff lately, tattoos tend to open some doors and slam others, but as much as my image has pigeon holed me, I don't regret a thing because this is a market I really enjoy. So as long as pinup keeps growing it will keep not only providing jobs for girls like me, but hopefully make tattoos and traditional pinup looks more socially acceptable in real life too. Even if its just a small step its a step in the right direction.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT TATTOOS THAT INTRIGUES YOU?
Personally I like how tattoos are like memories or moments frozen in time on your skin. Everything I have means something to me. Even if the image doesn't necessarily match the event, there is still a story that goes along with it.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
I just started my own fetish site!!! I'm a little bit of a freak, and I have shot fetish videos for other producers all over the country so I was like, why.. am I not doing this for myself too? Its not sex, but some of it is a little risque. We call it "drunk sorority girl porn" because its really mostly just hot tattooed girls having fun , tickling each other , and eating squished bananas off each others feet! You can check it out at www.SexyINKorporated.com
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
Mickey Avalon, Gym Class Heroes, Guns and Roses, Lady Gaga, underground hip hop, Bruno Mars, Panic..., Common, some country and hardcore...anything that catches my attention. I'm really not a music snob. I don't like overtly sexual rap though, or tough guy stuff that talks about guns or dope that no one really has.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
I live in "Fabulous" Las Vegas so fun is harder NOT to find. (hahaha) Modeling is my work, fun, and life. I recently started collecting vintage Barbies though, and I'm trying to open my own tattoo shop in the next few months, so collecting cool stuff, and designing the layout has been a roller coaster of its own. I also have a pretty insane BMW 550I that I keep at the track and car shows whenever possible.
