HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
Well I basically fell into it by accident at quite a young age, I'd always been interested in film and photography and forever pinching my dads camera's whenever the need to shoot was too much to resist. When I got my very first camera of my own I couldn't find anybody to sit for me who would take it as seriously as I was so I started doing a lot of self portraits. It was also a great way to unleash my creative side. I've always had a very twisted sense of humor and loved creating set ups for myself. I knew that if I used myself as the model then I could push the boundaries, without any limits. Eventually these images got picked up on social networking sites and that's when I started to get invited to attend shoots with other models for networking purposes, all very low key to start with but since then it's just snow balled into a full time thing.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
I love it when I'm able to get involved with the creative side of things and all the behind the scenes stuff too. I'm obsessed with costumes, wigs and props and love the idea of becoming someone else or discovering a new side to my personality. I sleep with a notebook beside my bed each night as I'm always coming up with crazy ideas and love the thought that one day I’ll be able to get these ideas onto print. But the most amazing thing is the adrenaline that rushes through your veins before you step onto set and the atmosphere in the studio
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
I like to mix up my image as I want to have more diversity as a model. But I'm loving my new addiction to couture latex, who knew it could be so elegant and classy. Although my signature movements are that of a broken doll so entering into the world of latex is a whole new ball game. For the first time in my life I'm learning to stand up straight and sit like a lady ;p
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITES?
My least favorite, I'd have to say would be corsets. As much as I admire their beauty and adore the skill and craft that goes into them they can be very hard to work with as I find them quite restrictive which impacts on my movements and the style of modeling I do. But outside of the studio I own a fair few as I truly can't resist their beauty. But like 6in heels, amazing to look at and stand in but once you start moving the discomfort sets in but pain is beauty as they say.
WHAT KIND OF SHOOTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ON IN THE FUTURE?
My image is usually portrayed as a sweet porcelain doll and I tend to photograph quite young. I'd love to sex up my image more and be portrayed as the 26 year old I truly am, I'd also love to do more dark and sinister shoots and perhaps a lot more horror/gore as these are the concepts that really excite me.
HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN FETISH MODELING?
I'd known about fetish modeling for a while but yet didn't really know much about it at all. I used to admire the stunning images in the magazines and look up to these beautiful yet powerful women like Mosh who seemed truly inspiring. Then I went to a shoot where one of the fellow models who looked like she'd just stepped out of a glamorous Hollywood movie had a whole case full of latex. Unable to contain my curiosity, she let me try some pieces on and from that moment I felt hooked. I went straight home, checked out some sites I'd seen and put an order in for a cute as hell bow mini dress...love at first site, who needs a man when you've got a wardrobe full of latex. When it comes to the more edgy stuff I'm always the first on set checking out the goodies but I'm still a baby in the world of fetish so I'll let the grown ups teach me how it's done, until then I'm happy to let my inner creative director loose and create these shoots with other models.
DO YOU THINK PINUP AND FETISH ARE BECOMING PART OF THE MAINSTREAM CULTURE?
I think there's no denying that fetish is entering slowly into the mainstream. With certain celebrities pushing the boundaries to shock and create media interest. At the moment the mark hasn't been overstepped to the extreme but it's only a matter of time as the general public are becoming more and more desensitized these days.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
I love classic art and animation so I mix the two to create 'my girls', a series of sinister character portraits which I keep for my own personal pleasure but perhaps one day I'll release my babies into the big wide world.
I'm also a massive makeup fanatic, working with liquid latex, paints and a variety of brands. I'm always experimenting to come up with new looks and ideas.
I love photography, creative direction, designing tattoo's and showcase hula hooping...I'm a jack of all trades, master of none...well...maybe a few ;)
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
Music is my passion, It always annoys me when people declare this and then go on to slate an entire genre. I love everything from death mental to country. If I hear a song that I believe to be below par I'll say so, even if I like the band and vice versa, It's all about constructive criticism and not just b****ing for the sake of it.
There's a theme for every moment in your life and just listening to a song can bring you back to that moment. Where would we be without music? It's there for when we're happy, sad, lonely, in love, it's the most amazing thing that human kind has ever created.
But if we're talking bands, I must say my faves have to be Atreyu, Greenday, Mayday parade and Tokio hotel but who can't resist sneakily tapping your toes under the table to a bit of 90's spice girls lol.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
For fun, what can beat hitting the town and clubs with your best mates after a long week. And to chill, I love riding my horses, reading graphic novels, painting, collecting alternative and gothic dolls and listening to my music. Another fave is playing console games with my guy mates and really peeving them off by purposely playing like a girl, dropping the epic weapons for a pair of pretty goggles or refusing to progress in the game because I’m 'scared'...then when they p*** off I finish up the level while congratulating myself on causing the boys so much frustration :)
Another passion...movies...especially horrors. I have to watch one every night before going to bed or I just can't sleep. I have yet to find one that has left me trembling beneath my bed sheets but I will not give up the search! Lol
