HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
I had always wanted to get into modeling but my height was always the issue prevented me as I am very petite at the height of 5'1. I had applied to several modeling agencies but always got declined. But once I had entered a draw online for Pierre Le'mond London in 2009 and was called a week or so later to join them for a photo shoot. I was so excited I literally jumped for joy. I had my hair and make up done for me and began shooting soon after. The day went very smoothly and I loved every minute of it, I knew this is what I wanted and it felt so comfortable. So it all started from there really, I found out about Model Mayhem,, a networking site for models/photographers/make up artists etc then began to work with photographers freelance over the next year building up my portfolio, I have had the pleasure of working with some very creative/talented people over the last couple and my modeling grew from there.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
I love being able to meet and work with creative people and producing beautiful and out there images, being able to dress in beautiful outfits and things I would never be able to wear on a day to day basis. it's like playing dress up but better and being able to play a different character . I still get excited for every shoot, knowing that every time it will be different and possibly a challenge too depending on the project at the time. I love how the team whether it being the photographer and model/designer etc are able to thrive off of each others creativity and learn from each other, continuously sharing ideas and inspiration so creativity can flow further.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
I love playing dress up, wearing exaggerated clothing. I have recently discovered latex over the last two years and now have a little obsession with it haha. I have only had the chance to wear latex twice during a shoot, but have more lined up. I really do need some more latex in my life. I am interested in modeling various types of clothing though. I love a bit of steam punk, vintage wear, corsetry, lingerie, dresses to catsuits etc. It would be boring sticking to the one style .
WHAT TYPE OF MODELING DO YOU LIKE THE LEAST?
I am not really a fan of Glamour modeling, Its just all the same, I am not also into fitness modeling, I have no interest in that side of modeling at all. I guess that is all I'm not too keen on really I am open to near enough everything else except 'adult' work.
WHAT KIND OF SHOOTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK ON IN THE FUTURE?
I would love to do a lot more outside, I am fascinated by derelict buildings and ruins, I would love to get a lot more work in those types of areas. I would love to travel the world at some point and shoot in as many abandoned/derelict places as possible. I would also like to have more conceptual imagery in my portfolio and maybe some fantasy, and of course loads more latex.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
Well I have an interest in a range of music from heavy metal, a little bit of jazz, trip hop, rock n roll to drum and bass it really depends what mood I am in and what am doing too.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?
I am actually in the process of learning the art of poi, hoping to become good at it over the next couple of months, I'm not getting that far with it at the moment though. I am hoping to join a pole fitness class very soon which I'm excited about. Other than that really I love to spend time with my friends and play video games and listen to music as well as going out , mostly to drum and bass nights.
