HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
I graduated an international modeling school at 14 when I first started high school. I was a teen model for about 4-5 years, I retired my last year of high school and didn't get back into modeling until I was 21. By that time I had already collected an abundance of tattoos and facial piercings and I was discovered by a photographer that works a lot with alternative models. After we shot together I didn't have high expectations as far as a career in alternative modeling but I realized it was something I really enjoyed. When my first set of photos went viral back in January I received many offers from photographers and event coordinators and have been booked at least 3-5 times a week ever since!
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
I have always been an artist, I majored in art in high school and my father taught me so much growing up. He always encouraged me to experiment with different styles. To me modeling is a form of art, every single detail counts and can make or ruin an image. The exciting aspect of modeling to me is collaborating with creative minds to make something beautiful that other people will enjoy. I'm a closet protectionist so I love watching myself improve, learning ways to make my images come out better and better every time I shoot is what keeps me hooked & motivated!
DO YOU COME FROM A BACKGROUND OF TRAINING IN THE ARTS?
Although my family is full of talented people, but to my knowledge no one in my family ever had a career in modeling let alone alternative modeling. They are all very supportive of what i do but I am still somewhat the black sheep, I have always done things my own way.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
Anything that shows my tattoos, I love wearing electric tape! I have small boobs but I'm not very insecure about my body, I love wearing lingerie and bikinis to photo shoots as much as possible. But my all time favorite outfits to model in would have to be my Cosplay Kitty costumes! I also absolutely love modeling for unique and alternative designers.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITES?
I wouldn't really say I have any, my only objection is to a collaboration of hair, makeup and wardrobe that makes me appear trashy. I feel that classy women can keep almost any outfit from looking vulgar, it just depends how you portray what you are wearing.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT TATTOOS THAT INTRIGUES YOU?
I always had a fascination with tattoos, I'm not even sure how it started but I always knew I would end up getting one. I never expected to ever have this many, but still want more! I just love how they look, you can take virtually anything you love and make it a part of you forever. It takes a certain type of person to portray themselves on their body in a way that looks good using tattoos, when I see these type of people I just can't help but talk to them! Being able to create the physical appearance that you find attractive beyond genetics is why I find tattoos, piercings, and most forms of body modifications so amazing.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
I have always been into photography, I also love being the creative director in my own photo shoots as well as others. I am also an actress and a gogo dancer. I'm currently working in the music industry as well as training to become a DJ. I feel as if life is too short to put your heart and soul into one thing. I love to try new things, I want to be able to do everything that interests me! I don't have to be the best at anything as long as I try my best, I'm learning something new, and its fun; then I'm happy.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
Everything. I mostly stick to EDM and basically any type of Rock you can think of. Electronic music has become my new obsession because its just so much fun to dance to! But I'm still a sucker for the classics such as The Beatles and The Beach Boys. I love 60's and 70's music as well as the new stuff.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
To me work and play are the same thing haha, but when I'm not "working" I love to party! I have been sober from alcohol for a little over 2 years, but the party girl in me never went away. I love hanging out with a group of drunk friends listening to obnoxiously loud music and dancing the night away! When I'm home on my days off most of my friends are usually working so I'll just play Xbox, watch anime, and hang with my kitties.
