HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
When I was about 16 I started setting up little photo shoots with my friends, making my own sets out of sheets and finding different little props around the house. Over time that grew into meeting new photographers and models and collaborating with them.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
Getting the end result is always the most exciting part for me. I get really antsy waiting for the perfectly posed and edited photo. It's an awesome feeling to know you created something fun to look at.
DO YOU COME FROM A BACKGROUND OF TRAINING IN THE ARTS?
Not at all. I'm kind of the black sheep of the family. My parents and relatives are all very "business" and conservative, while I have tattoos and style hair for a living. I like it that way, though. I've never been one to blend in with the crowd.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
Anything that shows off my ink. I'm very proud of it.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEAST FAVORITES?
Anything too conservative. I like to show some skin, what can I say?
WHAT IS IT ABOUT TATTOOS THAT INTRIGUES YOU?
I love that fact that a person can be a walking work of art. I find what people choose to permanently embed in their skin so intriguing. You can put anything you could possible imagine on your body. It blows my mind. My arms are insanely bright, so I'm basically a walking rainbow. Its awesome.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
Hair! Coloring, extensions and cutting hair is my life. I could NEVER in a million years work behind a desk from 9-5. I'm glad I can do something I love and create art on peoples heads everyday.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
Anything that will make me want to dance around my apartment in my underwear.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
I am the type of person that never gives them self a second to rest because they always want to go do something... anything! Go to the zoo, shopping, get dolled up for some drinks with friends, photo shoots, take a road trip. No matter what it is, I will make it fun.
