HOW DID YOU GET STARTED MODELING?
While I was working as an alternative dancer a couple of years ago, the rock club I worked at needed promotional photos of us for their website, networking sites, flyers and posters. So Owen Richards came in to do our photos professionally in my first ever photo shoot and I think the photos from that are still the best I've ever had and I still do shoots with him now.
WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT MODELING?
The end product. I love having a lot of fun in shoots, meeting new people and trying different things and then seeing the photos afterwards where all of our work comes together in one image.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF OUTFITS TO MODEL IN?
From my previous shoots, I think my favorite outfits have been when I have just taken a suitcase of random clothes and accessories to work with photographer Nick Parry. He's brilliant at throwing my seemingly mismatched clothes together into brilliant outfits that make great photos.
Although I haven't done any shoots of this type yet my favorite type of outfit in photos is latex, and I have got my outfits ready for the next shoot to try them out, and have been making my own latex jewelery, accessories and clothing recently.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT TATTOOS THAT INTRIGUES YOU?
The decoration. None of my tattoos particularly mean anything to me- they are just drawings and pictures that I like and think are pretty and wanted them on me to keep. Our body is just a blank canvas so why not draw on it!?
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CREATIVE MEDIUMS YOU WORK IN?
I have recently started making my own jewelery and latex clothing and accessories, and hope to extend this hobby further soon by branching out into other fashion related items, but I don't think I would ever really do this full time or seriously- it would take the fun and satisfaction out of it!
I also fire breathe professionally... if that counts as creative!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
For me, photoshoots are for fun. I am training to play roller derby at the moment and it is really the most fun I have had in a long time! I've only been doing it for about 5 months but since then have started up a team in my area called the Rockabilly Rollers http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=124407967582387&ref=ts
I've made so many great new friends through roller derby and it's such a brilliant way to get and keep fit I think every girl should do it!
